Welcome to MWOTRC! The Metropolitan Washington Old Time Radio Club is open to everyone interested in this fascinating hobby. MWOTRC was created in 1984 by Jim Burnette (1945-2001), our President Emeritus. Our group was founded to collect and share old-time radio (OTR) audio tapes, records, books, scripts, magazines and any related memorabilia. At about 200 members, we've achieved a reputation of being big enough to serve you, but small enough to know you. Our bi-monthly journal, Radio Recall, has been consistently rated as one of the top three OTR publications in the country. Dues: Annual dues are $20 to locals and $15 to others (and seniors). Dues are prorated; click here for the details. Meeting schedule: Regular meetings are held at Trinity Episcopal Church, Columbia Pike and Wayne Street, Arlington VA. We meet at 7:30 PM on the second Friday evening of every month, except June and December, when we meet Saturday noon at a local restaurant (location TBA). If you live in the Washington DC area or are planning a visit, why not attend one of our meetings? Members, guests, and the general public are invited to all meetings, which include various demonstrations and presentations. Please browse through our site to learn more about us, or contact us for more information.
